1. Planner data
FluidGantt is a local-first timeline planner for Mac. Your tasks, groups, milestones, dependencies, task segments, planner settings, and related content are stored locally on your Mac in a FluidGantt data package. By default, that package is stored in FluidGantt’s Application Support location.
If you choose a custom data location, FluidGantt stores the package in the folder you select and keeps a macOS security-scoped bookmark so it can continue accessing that location. FluidGantt validates a newly moved package before switching to it. You control the files and folders you select.
2. Accounts and online data services
No FluidGantt account is required. FluidGantt does not operate or integrate with an online data service that receives, stores, or synchronizes your planner or Calendar content.
3. Apple Calendar access
FluidGantt can request access to calendars through Apple’s EventKit framework. If you grant access, FluidGantt can display the calendars and events you select beside your plan. When you choose to create, edit, or delete a Calendar event from FluidGantt, that change is made through EventKit.
Calendar information is used locally to provide these features and is not sent to the FluidGantt developer. FluidGantt accesses Calendar through EventKit on your Mac and does not connect directly to Calendar-provider servers. macOS and the Calendar accounts you configure may synchronize Calendar data independently under their own terms and privacy policies. You can change Calendar permission in macOS System Settings.
4. Notifications
With your permission, FluidGantt can schedule local macOS notifications for tasks and milestones. Notification content may include the relevant item title and reminder text so macOS can show the reminder. FluidGantt does not use a push-notification server. You can change notification permission in macOS System Settings.
5. Trial, purchases, and subscriptions
FluidGantt uses Apple’s StoreKit and the Mac App Store to present products, process the 14-day trial, complete purchases, restore purchases, verify entitlements, and manage subscriptions. The app processes the StoreKit product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to unlock features and show purchase status. Apple processes billing and payment information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. No FluidGantt account or developer-operated purchase service is involved.
6. Network behavior and external links
FluidGantt is designed to work offline for local planning and does not send planner or Calendar content to developer-operated or third-party data servers. Apple services may use network access for StoreKit purchases and entitlements, and macOS may independently synchronize Calendar data through accounts you configure.
If you intentionally open a web address, meeting link, map/location search, subscription-management page, or other external link from FluidGantt, macOS opens the selected destination in the appropriate external app or browser. That destination handles the request under its own privacy practices.
7. Analytics, advertising, and personal information
FluidGantt does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, third-party crash-reporting SDKs, or developer-operated behavioral analytics. It does not sell personal information and does not use planner or Calendar content for advertising, behavioral analytics, or tracking.
Apple may provide the developer with aggregated App Store performance information, such as product-page activity, downloads, and acquisition metrics. These storefront-level metrics do not depend on a user choosing to share app analytics. Apple may separately provide app-usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic information where users have chosen to share relevant information with Apple and app developers. These services are operated by Apple under Apple’s privacy controls. FluidGantt does not use these mechanisms to collect or transmit planner or Calendar content.
8. Retention, deletion, and backups
Planner data remains in the local data package until you edit or delete it, remove the package, or uninstall the app and remove its data. Calendar data remains governed by your Calendar account and provider. You are responsible for backups of planner data stored on your Mac or in a custom location.
9. Children’s privacy
FluidGantt is a general-purpose planning tool and is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. Because FluidGantt does not operate an account or online data service for planner content, it does not knowingly collect children’s planner content.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if FluidGantt’s features or data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
